Companies House identity verification: the date for each director and PSC

There is no single date. Each director in office before 18 November 2025 gives their code with the company's next confirmation statement filed in the transition. A PSC who is not a director has the first 14 days of their birth month.

The transition runs 12 months from 18 November 2025 (Companies House); trade sources say it ends 18 November 2026. PSCs born in October who are not directors: 1 October 2026 to 14 October 2026, open now.

The rules, in 3 lines

Director before 18 November 2025: the code goes in with the company's next confirmation statement filed in the transition.
A PSC who is not a director: 1st to 14th of the birth month (December 2025, or January to November 2026).
PSC who is also a director: 14 days from the day after the confirmation statement date.
